Emma Conquest emerged in 1995, after fiddling about since the early ’90s. They submerged in 2001 when founding member Simon ran away. Other members were Ryan, the other founding member, and Tim. In the late ’90s the band toured Germany as well as playing a number of festivals as a three-piece goth band. I wish more bands were as old school trad Goth as Velvet Mist. When I discovered them I KNEW I HAD to play their music on my Gothic Radio Show up here in Canada - 'The Darkside'. They may be a new Goth band, but they perform like decades long experts in the genre. I hope one day to interview this up and coming band.
